Forums - Gaming - Yoda on Soul Calibur 4

I've just downloaded 2.52 and checked the new stuff on Playstation Store and looked at the newest addition.  I saw the Yoda DLC, bought it and played as the motherfucking green midget of death.  Since I didn't get an xbox I've always been curious what he plays like, and I find out that he's has pretty cheap advantages like since he's short he's always ducking so only Mid and Low attacks will hit him and he can't be grabbed.  IMO vader has more interesting moves, and I still don't know how Yoda is connected with Force Unleashed though, he's not even in it.  At least not on the Wii.

Star Wars characters put into a 3D fighter game is never a good thing. Oh well I guess they will try to use anything to sell the game.
I am waiting for Tekken 6. I played a bit of SC 4 and it did not interest me as much as Tekken or VF series.

I can't stand Yoda in soul calibur 4 (360 version) he's just a pain in the ass little RUNT with cheap moves who irritates the nuts off me.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crap set of moves he has aswell when your playing as him, He will certainly go down as one of the cheapest 3D fighter videogames characters of all time.

The apprentice on the other hand i find to be a pretty good character.

I knew this was coming I also think there be a dlc for darth vader on the 360 version.

Yeah the Apprentice is good, he balances well with the rest of the regular SC characters.  Btw, is Vader available on the X360 as DLC too?

I don't know if Darth vader is available on 360 yet and can't check due to my 360 been left at work, on the character select screen there is one empty slot so i would assume that slot is reserved for Darth vader.

Can anyone confirm this?

Also how does Darth vader play? is he as good as the apprentice?

He's not as good as the Apprentice.  He's pretty much a power-type character that has good knockdown moves.  He's somewhat under-powered when compared to Kilik or Mitsurugi.
