I know the max for Halo 3 is 16 system link, I mean why would they decrease it after Halo 1 & 2. You do need a TV per Xbox though. Ethernet cords for all systems and a box/switch to plug it into. Of course copies of the game.

I will say that even 8 people system linked is fucking amazing. Games can last sooooo long and they are soooo much fun.
