I've got to say, People playing SoulCalibur IV/Lost Planet/WarHawk are Very, VERY disturbed indivuals...

Infact, i got my headset from the WarHawk Jabra bundle thingie, yet i tryed it with Lost Platnet/Soul Calibur IV first. (Because the people on WarHawk sound weird and muffled up) Note: Not anymore though lol.

Anyway point is...Why is it... that the following is happening in the backround while im playing with/against them...

• Dogs barking madly and slaming stuff around.
• Babys being b*tch slapped.
• Chainsaw Sounds? (Lol Gears of War?)
• A constant octagon ringtone.
• Heavy and/or constant creepy breathing into the mic...
• Japanese School boys/girls giggle'n up a storm for no reason or if someone else speaks...
• Constant refernces to Leeroy jenkins.
• A buncha old people screamin in the backround.
• This one is rare but...a really loud "Steam-Like" sound randomly fades in and out, out of the blue.
• Random Homosexuals pointing out how sexy my CaS Character(Male) is from SoulCalibur IV (Online Ranked Mode).

Well thats just a few things, and the sound from the headset is so clear it sounds very, very disturbing in some cases...

And now i understand why many of my PSN buddys REFUSE to use there headsets UNLESS its with friends, because DAMN alot of PlayStation 3 owners are disturbed...

disturbed || immature || childish || idiots

Hey! Live has it's fair share of idiots too. Don't try and claim this as a win for PSN.

Although Live tends to degrade into a tirade of racist insults. The free headset doesn't pick up on enough background noise. You gotta buy the wireless one for that.

Yeah totally dude, i never knew how odd and downright disturbed people can be when it comes to the online gaming realm though jeez...

Meh, I'm not a big fan of using mics. Lots of times I'll be online and I'll hear people's mic's picking up their TV.

The only thing worse than hearing the echo of the game is when multiple mics pick up the TV so the echo lasts for like 30 seconds.

People can be pretty imaginative in their insults sometimes lol

I've played online games on PC long before they started showing up on consoles so maybe I'm desensitized to it now but every once in a while there is still something that makes me go wtf

LOL! even to a long time PC player with voice chat on? Yikes.

But yeah not use to it yet, lotsa creepy people im afraid to turn on the damn headset. T_T

You should make a thread dedicated to weirdest thing you've heard while playing with a mike.  I've got a couple that really made me wonder who the hell these people are.  Like the guy who wanted me to hear his brand new .357 magnum, so he fired it into the ground off his 3rd story apartment balcony.  It was loud enough it crapped out his microphone for a few seconds, lol.  Only in America!
