Well i was shocked to notice no1 picked up on this but me, I looked for a post and couldn't find one. On joystiq a few days back they announced that Microsoft stated they would only have 50% of original features in the new NXE.. this is what you get when people try to release stuff early...

Your statement is very misleading. That's not 50% of the stuff they announced for the NXE, just 50% of the stuff they want to add into NXE eventually. They made a long list of features they want to add into it. Only thing they showed before that is not in it, is primetime which was delayed till spring. They also mentioned in the same statement that the NXE is designed to add new features easier then before. So they can roll stuff out over time instead of 1 or 2 big updates a year. Ars Tecnhinca mentioned Microsoft has told them about some more big additions coming over the next few months which they can not talk about yet

There is enough there to keep 360 owners happy, then we can look forward to a nice update in spring.

The thing they didn't say (because it's common sense) is every project has things cut (game, movie, whatever).

Personally, I would rather have 50% of the planned features that work really well than 100% of the features that are so-so.

When will the Zune marketplace make it's way onto Xbox live...i would have thought that would've been done by now for obvious reasons. It should be a cash cow for them plus it gets the name Zune in everyone's faces.

Can't say i'm disappointed in primetime being cut, but the NetFlix movie sharing would have been great.
