You forgot SSBB, Mario Kart Wii, and possibly Wii Fit.

No.  I really didn't.  None of those will win GOTY except for a Wii-specific category.  They just aren't good enough, in my opinion.  Though i will say I haven't played Wii Fit.

Yeah, I can say I think Madden 09 will win GotY awards everywhere but that still doesn't mean I'm right or shouldn't be mocked.  Trust me, MKWii and SSBB will win things too.

Wii fit wouldn't really be a game in my opinion...



I am a Gamer... I play games and not consoles. I have a PC and Console on which I game... I like games. End of Story!

MGS4, LBP, R2, GoW2, GTA IV all have the chance of winning GOTY, i do hope LBP does though just because its unique compared to the great games that came out this year.

LBP deserves some kind of reward just for being able to do smething different and get good review scores for doing so in an era when most games that are highly rated and sought out have been reduced to being the lowest common denominator type of games -- mindless shooters.
