Forums - Gaming - PSN and XBOX 360 HDD install,Good but not enough?

Now we all know that november 19th cant come soon enough for us Xbox 360 owners,Thats the day when we can install games onto our hard drive, and those 2-5 disc games such as Blue-Dragon some other RPG games we can install them onto our HDD and not worrie about swamping disc,Good Wrong!

Those games are at least 25-40 gigs in total and that is more than most of the Xbox 360Markets 20 gig HDD,And while the 60 gig is "Triple the Storage" its not enough for Multiple disc games,I mean that should be the hole point of installing games onto the HDD right..(Besides reduced load times ect..)

But now onto Blue Ray and PSN....

Blue Ray is good for storage,50 gigs dual layer is good for games,But (and i hate to say this) but the majority of PS3 owners are 40 gig and every game they get HAS to have some parts installed onto the HDD that eats up HDD space, but thats not the real problem,Blue Ray is PSN own nightmare!

Why? Simple Say you want to get a game like LBP out on PSN,Well you cant put the hole 50 gig game out on there for download as many PS3 Owners dont have that much space,So Blue Ray becomes PSN own nightmare, but if they do put full games on PSN then they would be "degraded" down to less than 10 gigs, even with the 80 gig that is way to much...

Please give me thoughts, but no stupid 360 SUCKS or PS3 sucks comments, lets keep this mature and if you want to prove something post links.

you have the option to install discs on the 360 and you don't have to install all of the discs, you could install 2 of 3 discs if you want.

I dont think you can,i think you have to install all the disc,Im not sure i dont have a multi set disc collection.

you don't have to install all of the discs, Microsoft has stated this in the past.

"According to GameSpotUK, Microsoft has told reporters that a Devil May Cry 4 hard disk installation will take around 10 minutes on the Xbox 360 (outpacing the PS3 which a 30mins install) and will result in around a 30 percent improvement in load times. Reduced noise is also another benefit of the new option. Although you will STILL need to have the disc in your drive, as always the Install feature is an option and not mandatory."

Yep,

also I read that GTA was an 8 minute install, I wouldn't mind deleting an 8 minute install, but then again I have 120gigs.

Also I upgraded my PS3 to 160gigs.
