Jeez, alot of final fantasy VII hate eh? then tell me... why is it the ONLY final fantasy of them all to get so many god damn spin-off's when all the others only got at the most remakes that isnt even in HD?

Well whatever... imo Final Fantasy VII > Every Other Final Fantasy. That is Untill versus XIII comes out then it'll be... Final Fantasy Versus XIII > Final Fantasy VII > Everything else. :P

I've never play a FF game before that's why I'm getting IV on chrismas.

That isn't the greatest argument for proving its quality. I'm assuming you dislike the Wii, so you can see why...

Then what would be?  If the game sucked really bad, there wouldn't be so many people praising it and it wouldn't be a popular game.

FFIV on DS is awesome :)  FFIV is my 2nd fav main FF

I mentioned the Wii because many people (possibly Seraphic_Sixaxis included) dislike the console, and believe its games are inferior. Mario & Sonic has sold better than any PS3 game, so what can we conclude from it? No other RPG's even come close to Pokemon's sales. Etc etc...

Now, I'm not saying FF7 is bad, just calling out the "it's the most popular so it's the best" BS. Don't bother using it, it'll come back to haunt you, especially if you dislike the Wii

I personally love FFVII, but i don't go around praising it 24/7 or bashing another game because it's nothing like what I like.

FF IV is my favorite. A great game, the story makes a lot more sence than the later games. Just a warning on the DS game, it is hard as nails. You will probably die on many of the bosses until you learn the strategy for each one. But if you like the battle system in Pokemon you will probably love this game.
