Exactly, which is why im gonna laugh my ass of it Regular XIII Fails/Flops.

Is it just me or has MOST (NOT ALL) Game sagas decayed/weaked over the past 7 or so years?

Not countin MGS4 of course. I dunno about you SHM, but the 2 main reasons im no longer hyped for regular XIII is...

 #1: Square Enix:Delay, Delay, Delay. #2: The "Main" Character is a girl... #3: The Lead characters names... AKA Lightning/Snow/Ember... WTF!? those better be code names...or else...they'll be hell to pay...

If Versus XIII and Agito XIII doesnt save the day when it comes to the final Fantasy Series...nothin will imo... they've lost there epic touch...Shame on Square Enix..

I doubt Versus (and Agito) could be any better. They are spin-offs, and anyone that says otherwise is just fooling themselves. I mean, it's still in the same universe, maybe not with the same characters though. This is Nomura's vision of XIII and regular XIII is Kitase's, and I can't wait to see which one is going to be better!

I seriously think regular XIII is going to pwn Versus, not because I'm biased, but because Nomura's stuff is usually over the top, and that pisses me off a lot. Plus, what about the female lead? Wasn't Terra one of the best main characters in a game ever? So, with that said, female Cloud for the win! =P

Okay here we go...

1. Okay Agito will NOT surpass regular XIII in overall gameplay/story etc...etc... i'll give you that one.
2. Square hasnt confirmed Nor denyed that Agito or Versus are spin-offs, but games of there own, granted regular XIII is the main event, they've said the other two play a big role aswell though.
3. I Agree, wanna hold a bet which will be better Versus XIII or regular? i've seen people doing this with Kingdom hearts 3 lol so why dont we follow suit buddy? :P
4. Nomura is "Over the top?" may i ask how?

Nomura is ''over the top'' with all his new stuff basically. Kingdom Hearts is one of them. Have you seen the final boss of both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, or just the fact that it's little kids saving the world (it's been overdone, I know, but this one seems worse)? Please...! A better example is Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. So Vincent is transported in a different ''domain'' near the end, and he can fight an enormous thing all by his own? That part was crazy. Or just Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII in general, wings coming out of people and all. I didn't finish the game yet, but if that's not explained anywhere, I'm just going to say the japanese crave for weird stuff like that! Nomura is the Hollywood developer of Japan! o_O

And yeah, I'll take the bet! I'll enjoy both of them either way, for sure. And Terra is in Final Fantasy VI. So you said Final Fantasy VII is the best Final Fantasy game out there, and you didn't play Final Fantasy VI? You were right calling blasphemy on that! xD

1. Okay...I agree 100% on kingdom hearts...i dunno what he was smoking on that one but its a decent series to some point.
2. Dirge of Cerberus......Hmmm.... yeah i admit the last boss was abit...Out there but its nothing new, you do remember jenova dont you? or Bahamut? but i think numora choose that boss to lead into some sort of Final Fantasy VII Sequel imo.
3. About the Wings in crisis core, it is explained, but not in great detail, its basicly a reaction/mutation to the jenova cells and so forth. i think they explain more once you reach the end it self.
4. Agreed, but i gotta say when it comes to his over-the top Action Ala Advent Children FFVII, putting that into game form which hes planning to do with Versus XIII Exclusively i can't help but get the chills of enjoyment from it!
5. Alright the bet is on! i'll place it in my sig next to claudes blasphemy towards versus XIII, and yes i agree both games will be great regardless, but i admit im biased towards Versus XIII for quite a few reasons.
6. I thought so, Terra...Hmm.... Did they remake VI for any of the recent consoles/handhelds?
