I say in more then a year, close to 2 years. I predict that Obama will not leave until he feels IRAQ is safe.

Well, if the prospective security pact is not passed and the UN does not extend its mandate, whether or not we have troops there will become impertinent. The US will not be allowed to operate militarily inside of Iraq. The current rumors speculate that the prospective pact may be decided by referendum.

Obama offically said by the end of 2009. The Iraqi government wants us out by the end of 2010. I think we will be out in about 2.2 years.

Well, Obama's schedule for troop withdrawal is largely congruous with the proposed security pact. The pertinent issue is whether or not the UN extends its mandate. I doubt the pact will be approved by the parliament or by referendum.
