is it a benefit that Obama won no. If McCain won would it benefit the USA? no. Basically either way the USA is going to be going to the road to hell.

My thoughts are that the biggest colour barrier has been broken and as long as Mr. Obama does a moderately good job, his presidency will take away any iota of ground negative racial prejudice stands on.

also why is Obama being declared the winner? there are like 37 more states that havent been counted from the last time I looked at the voting chart 5 minutes ago.

Yes, posting duplicate threads is against the forum rules.
The McCain camp themselves have said they can't win. They were essentially conceding before the networks called it.
