I put the leaked NXE on the 360 I was using while mine was in for repair. It's very fast. Much, much faster than the blades. It also has an option to disable autorun when you pop a disc in, which I like.

Thats a cool option. I've been puting a disc in and just leaving the tray open, to prevent that.

Other than that, the option that I am really looking forward to is the disc install. This would help save dvd drives and also help with loading and streaming.

NXE is a complete overhaul of the dashboard UI and additional functionality in Live's APIs. M$ will also be able to deploy additional features on a more regular basis instead of 2 to 3 times a year.

 I wanted to play with the install but the HDD was full and I didn't want to use mine as it would have forced me to update my console and blocked my live till 19th. I also wanted to piss about with avatars but you need live for that.
