I already like Gears 1 over all the Halo's , but what do you guys think?

Gears 2 or Halo 3?

Also, did you like Gears 1 over the Halo games?

Depends what we're comparing.

Multiplayer? no...halo 3 still rules there.
Campaign? Yes...despite halos awesome 4 player co-op campaign, gears campaign is better in my opinion.

So gears 2 should have better campaign and has a shot at MP crown.

I like them both. Halo 3 because of the far superior matchmaking and party system, but Gears is funner...ish.

So it depends on Matchmaking awesomeness or gears funness >_>

i prefer gears by far.

i like the atmosphere better, and i prefer third person to first person. i don't do online so that's a none issue for me.

i really hated gears, so imo halo.

Although the halo 3 campaign isnt to good , the multiplayer plays really well. The campaign in halo 1 is probably the best fps experience i've ever had.
