yea the left are so mean arn't they? Not starting wars, giving money to poor people, what assholes.

Republicans donate more money to charity than Democrats actually.  Also those who support the idea that government should redistribute income are among the least likely to dig into their own wallets to help others.

Back it up with a link about republicans donating more money.  Also, even if true, which is may very well be, I wouldn't doubt that Democrats actually volunteer more of their time to charity.

What do you consider more valuable?  Time or money?  I think it's a ridiculous thing to try and make a point of anyway, and does nothing but spread partisan hate.  Grats.

And any government that requires its citizens pay taxes is essentially redistributing income..... it comes back to us in roads and services and public health and safety.  Get off the redistributing income schtick, cause democrats are not socialists any more than Republicans are.

From the article

After Palin was selected as Sen. John McCain's running mate, her attorneys attempted to take the investigation out of the hands of the legislative investigator by asking her handpicked three-person State Personnel Board to look into the matter.

So her handpicked board cleared her. Shocking.

The board was actually the people who are legally aloud to investiage it.  The other people weren't.

Wow, what great timing. The real board, that was bipartisan (but mostly Republican) UNANIMOUSLY found her guilty. Her own cute little 3-person panel that she organized later (too little too late) found her innocent the day before we vote. How convenient. What a fucking pathetic joke from a pathetic crook.

They weren't the real board Rubang.  They weren't actually legally allowed to investigate it under the Alaskian constitution, but did because of political gripes.

You people should all be aware that the investigation was going on long before she was picked for VP. Its not like its some magical conspiracy theory cooked up to slander Palin.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Actually it was... just slander her as govoner nor slander her as a VP... as the republicans and democrats both hate her as govoner.

Cause she really is pretty unpopular with the right with some of the tougher stances she takes on the oil companies which tend to own every other poltician in Alasaka.

Like Ted Stevens.

Not with the actual people mind you.  Just their elected officials.  Hence their illegal look into it.

Kasz makes a good point, but the fact remains that it wasn't based on her being the VP.

I agree with you here - it's just that it got national attention and the mass media made it really big.

i think that if sarah decides to run in 2012 you will be very surprised by her.

Clinton vs Palin will be a very interesting election.
