Anyways on topic, yes we are already seeing the PS3 beginning to be used as the lead platform, and it usually means better games for both PS3 and 360 gamers.

 

@Bolded- I guess, i'll do that from now on, but if i recall correctly...i tryed a few timed and it wouldnt let me post the article at all so...

@Underlined- Yeah thats what i wanted to get out, no more of that "Oh so what if its on PS3 its far better on 360 anyway" BS now that excuse has been shot down.

Oh well, im still relativly new to VG so i most likely misread.

Again my bad, i'll copy everything from an article from now on and leave my opinion out of the title and keep in in the thread itself.

Do you see the difference? Because it's pretty significant. If you don't, I'll simply hope you're being deliberately obtuse.

Threads have been posted with titles like "360 is proven greatest console in the world" and inside it says "well thats what little billy said" and allowed them to remain unlocked.

Could you be more specific? By, say, pointing to a specific thread, instead of vaguely accusing bias? If I see such a thread, I will lock it, just as there have been many ridiculous pro-Sony threads I haven't locked (since I did not see them). Or am I suddenly labeled a 360 fanboy? Bodhesatva reminds VGChartz posters once again: I hate, hate, hate Gears of War and everything it stands for.

From what I hear, it's easier to port a game from PS3 to 360 than the other way around. Even if it's true, I don't see the harm in it.

but of course many things can cause memory leaks and misuse of cpu, especially when lots of low level programming it's used.

either way the port will likely be inferior unless tons of time it's expend on it.

As far as just the Cell and Xenos are concerned, I look at things this way:

Let's say you have 8 small plates, each with a small cookie on top roughly the diameter of the plate.  Now let's say you decided to move these cookies onto three larger plates.  Just dump 'em on, and it roughly works out, right?

Now let's say you start off with three large cookies on three large plates.  Trying to get them to fit on the smaller plates isn't so easy, now is it.  You'll have to break the cookies up, probably losing some of each cookie due to crumbs falling onto the floor and the like, and the final result will be 8 rough, cracked, mishapen pieces of cookie that barely fit on the smaller plates.
