I dont think anyone actually cares about Metacritic scores. IGN both gave them 9.5 so they are both absolutely awesome games. I have a PS3 so im getting R2. If u have a 360 go out and get Gears 2, If u have both consoles, gt both games.

that is basically because of his "lower" scale that GoW2 can be so beautifull.

There were only really fews improvements from the first one
but since the first one was already a very heavy piece of gaming
(and since american reviewers love their Xbox360)

GoW2 > R2
