gears will score higher due to many fanboy reviews, but my purchase choice is resistance 2 as its looking to be the better game.

Uhuh... that's funny. Now, will you let the Wii owners use this argument against HD games in general?

Really, it's either reviews are worth something or they aren't. You can't just discount them when it's convinient.

This. Honestly, not trying to "damage control" or anything, I got R2 today and it is a blast. So far, the SP campaign is awesome and I played the beta so I know that the MP is great as well (especially the Co-Op). I would be playing it right now if it wasnt for the election. Seriously, alot of u xbox fanboys say "yea, R2 is gonna be great" and all that yet the hatred radiating off of some of you states otherwise.

Gears of War 2 and Resistance will both be AAA titles.
Gears of War 2 will have average review scores around 95%.
Resistance 2 will have average review scores around 90%.

I will buy both games.
