I've only seen one episode of American Dad, but that was plenty.

Futurama is the best North American animated show of all time, although the second movie was extremely disappointing.

I always found Futurama go be a futistic knock off of the Simpsons ( I know they're not the same but the way futurama tries to be funny), Altho the Simpsons has grown stale recently. Personally I watch Two and Half Men, That 70s Show And Top Gear. TV is shit nowadays.

I can't believe someone said that futurama wasn't funny and that family guy was amazing.

There is no need to point out that american dad season 5 proves americans are idiots because cancelling futurama was 3 years ago and proved the same thing. It was too smart for its audience.

For example: when Fry is woken up in the first episode he wakes up in daylight. However, he was frozen 1000 years before at midnight and his length of freeze was 1000 years. Following gregorian calculation he would have woken up at about 4 PM because of the earth's rotation, which is what happened.
Example: Benders door number is "00100100". which translates to 36 and in ascii translates to '$'.
Futurama catered to the superficial joke crowd but also to the nerd crowd. They also had many phd's working on the show and it was the most expensive show to produce as well.

Family guy is just a lot of jokes in a short amount of time and a lot of punch-you-in-the-face humor. IE: simple but exaggerated jokes.
As you can see from more recent episodes, the past intelligence of stewie and brian has been replaced by "he's-really-a-dog" jokes and gay jokes.

I think south park made it epicly clear what it is through its family guy rendition.

i hate that show, so stupid. not funny at all. Please Seth McFarlane just stick to Family Guy.

It's better than Family Guy and its non-stop parodies that forget to be funny.
