I was reading an article talking about the drums for World Tour not working right or at all - http://www.gamespot.com/news/6200114.html

I am trying to figure if this is happening for an specific console's drums, or if it is universal among all SKUs of the drums. If you're having an issue with the drums working, what system are you using and what's going on with your drums?

Am planning to purchase this game Thursday, but if there's a lot of these issues, I might hold off until they get it sorted.

There was a post on Kotaku about the drums issue (can't find it at the moment...it was within the last day or two). I believe the post mentioned that the problem wasn't console specific.

They are working great for me. Just buy it a retailer you know will accept returns should it be defective.

^^^ Good point, I usually buy from Toys R Us. Am aiming to have the game in time for my halloween party on sat =)

Ok so I picked up the set last night. Last one at TRU. I bought the extended warranty just in case. tested it out, seems fine, all the pads respond. Overall, the drums make a LOT more sense and are more fluid to play than the Rock Band drums. So far, Im impressed, but I have yet to unlock a lot of songs.
