Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Fable II Gameplay thread

I own every wagon in the Gypsy Camp, the whole town of Oakfield, all of Town Square in Bowerstone (shops) and some houses, and half of Bowerstone Old Town. I'm raking in about 150,000 gold pieces an hour. Time to furnish some houses and make more money.

I'm making money, while my homeless bum husband, who I got to marry me with a mood ring, lives in a Gypsy wagon, dying for sex. I love this game. n_n

Just got it and I only logged in a couple hours. Very impressed thus far. I was a little disappointed by the graphics, but like a GTA game, F2 offers SOOOO MUCH content that it more than delivers. I'm gonna read the instruction manual now. I feel like I'm missing certain nuances, and I don't wanna miss a thing!

When I first started playing in childhood I was kind of disappointed too. Once you grow up though, the game starts looking really good. The lighting in this game is awesome. Stand on a ridge and look at the sunset in Rookridge.

That was the last straw! After trying my best to be the purest hero I could be, I get fined for making crude gestures in public, and charged with trespassing for having sex in someone else's house?

When I get home from work, I am going to unleash the chicken kicking-est, throat cutting-est, bad assy-esst crime spree that the world of Fable 2 has ever seen! Maybe then, I'll get some damned respect.

You don't need to leave the 360 on. It accrues the same after you turn the game off.

Do you think if you change the 360's time forward, will the game think that much time has gone by and give you that much money, or are they going by the time given by Live or something?

Oh, and combat in this game is amazing.  No mana and it works perfectly.  Love the ranged weapons.  Makes you feel like a complete badass to fire some fireballs, shoot some pistol shots and then slash some people to bits with ease.

This was the tactic I found to work the best for me. Summon undead and launch them at the enemies. Then fire rifle shots at them till it's time to reload, this is with a 5 shot rifle. Once out of ammo, charge up for another summon spell and launch them. Whatever comes close, whack em with melee. The combat in this game is awesome and there are many ways to strategize.

Yeah thats what I do.  I have life steal augment on my melee. So im set there.

Has anyone done the Romantic aschievement yet?

What exactly is the perfect date, is that where you just follow the expressions that flash?

Oh yeah and for the time thing, thats what people are reporting, I havent tried it yet, but Its possible that might screw with the Orb quest promo coming up.
Either way I don't cheat (for the most part).

Oh yeah anyone get nicked for cheating in pub games?

I didn't really use it much at all so I didnt.

I'm personally a fan of time stop. Gogo albion-matrix!

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

Oh yeah it was wierd and funky seeing Oakvale. I like hou they did that. Apparently (for me anyway) they assume the original hero from Fable turned evil.

Personally I'm a fan of distracting them with some summoned baddies, then using slow time to buy myself enough time to rain down a 4th level inferno or 5th level shock.

Watching every living thing die within a second of each other never seems to get old.

I got the Romantic achievment.  All you do is find out where you spouse likes to go and go there.  And then bang em.  Thats all i had to do.

on another note. what do you have to do to get the 100 gamerscore points for Skill and mage??
