"Pure ownage on the X360's part versus the failing & falling PS3."

That's not to be expected from a mod...

Shouldn't be tolerated. It is, however, completely expected..

Looks like Tenchu might be dead. All those bad games inbetween scared everyone off for good.

@stickball: I dont disagree with that at all, but the way you say it is inflamatory. Calling the PS3 a failing console is just not right, when the 360 has sold less than a 3rd of what the PS3 sold with a whole year of head start.

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Then what do you want me to say?

The Playstation 3 is certainly falling in Japan. I already gave you analysis. That doesn't mean that it can't rise again - the X360 certainly proved that one.

And if you were asked.........3 years ago....That the Playstation 3 would be struggling to outsell the Gamecube, would you consider that failing?

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

You didn't just only say "FALLing" you also said "FAILing". That's where you get my complaints from.

So at what level is the Playstation 3 not failing in Japan? I already asked you that once.

I mean, if you consider the console leader last gen to be near 3 million consoles in 2 years not-failing, then have at it. But that's not the opinion I have.

I don't think Tenchu was ever that good of a series in the first place.

@mrstickball: But the way you phrased it is what made it look inflamatory. How is there a "pure ownage" if they are both selling terribly bad? I know the PS3 is not doing well, and even worse when compared to the PS2, but the 360 isn't doing marvels. It's selling very bad.

If Tenchu sells 20-30% sellthrough on day#1 - that should equate to 50%-60% for week#1 - which isn't THAT bad. If there is any blame, its general low confidence - all round. Publishers do less dev on a game, retailers order less units, consumers buy less units...

Tenchu 3 sold 120k week#1 (years ago) - and Tenchu 4 ships 30k-40k week#1?

Nothing I saw about Tenchu 4 filled me with confidence about the product.

What do you mean by "Publishers do less dev on a game"?
