We've been following the regular character reveals over at Capcom's blog, but today's update brings something entirely different to the table. Continuing the ongoing trend of involving gamers in the development process, Capcom is accepting submissions for an Achievement that may appear in the Xbox 360 iteration of Super Street Fighter Turbo II HD.

Suggestions can be submitted in the comments section of the original post, and after August 1st, the producers will sort through the submissions and choose the 10 best options. "There are some things that it won't be possible to track in the game, technologically speaking," said producer Brian Dunn. "So we have to make sure that anything we put out there can actually be done."

Once they have weeded out the junk, the duplicates, and the impossible ideas, the producers will leave it up to users of the official Street Fighter Capcom-Unity forum to vote on which Achievement will be included in the downloadable title. I remember laughing at how they were releasing Super Street Fighter Turbo II Alpha Zero or something like that, while stubornly refusing to just call the game Street Fighter III. Should've guessed they'd go back to versions of II eventually. =P

 They haven't this is just a remake of one of the original SF II games. SF is at SF III as of right now as far as sequels are concerned.

Do you know if the PS3 version will have "trophies" or whatever they're called?

I am looking forward to this, I haven't put any time into a 2D fighter in..... 9?? yrs..... wow, should be fun

Go pick up Street Fighter Anniversary Edition right now one the PS2, it includes the old school SF II and the godly SF III:3rd Strike.
