That doesn't mean it'll look the same. Just because you downscale a picture it doesn't get worse graphics. Just a lower resolution. It can still contain the same polygons and textures. (wont need the same size textures though)

Points you to my previous post. PS3 fanboys are splitting hairs. It will be extremely close to PC version. The funny thing is early in development this nearly was a multiplat game.

honestly i doubt it'll look exacly like those pics. That is probably the top end of the pcs.. but i dunno. We'll see.
Point was that resolution has little to do with detail. (which is funny if you think about it)

I understand what you mean. But I'm sure the detail will be very close. And with those shots being 720p, with that detail hopefully being very close to the 360 version with the length of dev time it will own all.

long development time does not always equal good game.. look at haze lol ! XD.. and they had amazing looking screens near release.. while the product looked shabby. Not trying to.. you know, but don't jump the gun... in either case.. nothing beat's the God of War .. Hur !.. but if this is good i'll deffo look into grabbing it.

Considering everything shown with Alan Wake is in engine, unless they suddenly take graphics out rather than improve even more the game = win in graphics. Also IMO God Of War trailer graphics arent in my top 5.

Unreal tournament 3.. i'm using this as an example.
Both of these pics are ingame, can you really tell me with a straight face they look similar ?...(that was on my old pc btwXD)
Another thing is i really hope god of war trailer graphics are in your top 5 because it's some of the best CGI in a trailer ever ... : .. especially since it is.. cgi.

On my mates uber PC it looks better than the one on the left. He runs 1900x 1200. He spent lots of money.And GOW 3 is not in my top 5 because CGI is not graphics. I will not include any CGI in my graphics lists. My top 5 is
1. Alan Wake
2. Gears 2
3. KZ2
4. R2
5. Fable 2.
If you add PC just put Crysis in 1 and move everything down 1.

I didn't mean it in correlation to graphics at first but when you said the graphics werent in your top 5.. certainly i had to say.. well cough cough dude.
Can't say i agree with you, especially not if you talk about detail, but i didn't try to start an argument to begin with so why don't we just stop this :\ And one last thing.. CGI is graphics. It's actually nothing but graphics lol.
