Multi-player is the biggest appeal of games like PES. People like to get the same version their friends are playing. Last year PS2 version was easily the biggest seller as PS3 still had a small installed base. This year with a far larger installed base PS3 version is expected to be the most popular. Many who were happy playing the PS2 version last year as that's what most of their friends were playing will find most of their friends playing PS3 version this year. Peer pressure to upgrade will be a lot stronger.

I don't think the boost will be that big, but the ps3 should be around 80-85k easilly. It's true that it's a strong brand here, but don't forget the ps3's still expensive in europe (550$ !!!!)
