@ twestern - did you even play heavenly sword? not only was there lots of fun good action there was a really good story behind it. told excellently if i might add. ive played this game over 3 times now and i cant get enough of it. a 2nd does not seem out of the question. but if they do make a 2nd it probably wont be till atleast 2010

 Yes he did:

Lol, never saw that video.

On-topic i wouldnt mind a sequel but i wouldnt miss it either.

That video is in easy mode, and near the beginning of the game. Play this game through the hardest difficulty and TRY and tell me you can go through it like that. It requires redicolous timing.

See, you tell me that but the people I actually know in real life that don't have fanboy blinders on tell me a completely different story.

I'd much rather take the opinion of someone I actually know (who even loves the PS3) rather than some random internet person.

Ok so don't trust an internet person. Go to these people's houses who love the PS3, turn it on, put in Heavenly Sword on the hardest difficulty - then get back to me. Everyone is entitled to their oppinion, I'm just saying that the video does not really do the game justice.

I enjoy a game that is a PS3 exclusive so I have fanboy goggles on?

I make a lot of assumptions.

And why would I play a game I know I don't like?  I didn't like the demo and I don't like God of War.  Someone even mentioned Ninja Gaiden and I'm not even a fan of that game (though I don't remember it playing itself like HS does).

maybe if she can come back from the dead or her lil sister can become a warrior

I found something. It's an article from a french site that says they have a few indications about the next HS. It's from last march, so has the problem with ninja theory appeared before or after last march. If it's before, it means that we might have something here. To summarize, it says that they're thinking about a new male character that could use martial arts, or it could be kai but older and more mature.

so why bother even posted in this thread if you know you dont like HS nor any other games of its kind (ie god of war and ninja gaiden) it seems a bit pointless if you ask me as this thread was intended for those that liked / played HS and would want to see a prequel and / or sequel

Does anyone really care??

I CARE! I loved the game so you shut it. I can only dream of Nariko's sis being the main lead in number 2.

This is the game that sold me a PS3.  It is still my favorite game on the system to date.  The acting is superb and the gameplay as fun as the graphics stunning.  I'd love to see the sequel and done by Ninja Theory.  I heard that it is officially cancelled because Ninja Theory is going multi platform, but I could see them dusting off the playbook as the install base reaches 40000000 plus...  Until then I am happily awaiting news of their next offering.
