I'd take that as a compliment if SCE put my level in a commercial or started selling it; I wouldn't care so much that they had stolen it, it'd just be really cool that they thought it was good enough to steal. =)

Im sure you'd just be overjoyed to see that your LBP level was sole 12,000 x for $5 a pop and you didnt see a cent of it.

I would be. I'm not someone who gets all mad over something like this. Honestly, that'd be some great exposure for me if I was to go into the video game design business. I could put "created level that was published and sold by Sony" on my resume. Besides, I'm not buying LBP to make money, I'm buying it to have some fun.

How would Sony take your level from LBP and sell it? From my understanding anyone can play any level you make for FREE. What's Sony going to do, remove your level from the community and put it up for sale? All you do is post your level again...

if you give sony something thats good enough for them to put up on the psn to sell or be in a commerical im sure they will get in touch with you and maybe ask for more from you, thats when you bargain for the money! other than that shiz i dont care if they use something of mine just gonna make me famous in the gaming scene, id be happy if they did :D

The whole point is they wont give you any credit including monetary value. Sure you can tell people that you made the level but theres absolutely no proof of it because Sony aint giving you credit. It would be great exposure if they give you credit which they technically dont have to.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

That still wouldn't bother me. I'd know that I made the level and Sony would know. And honestly, my point is that it'd be cool if they did that, but I will get the game for fun and I really couldn't care less what they do with the levels I'll make.

I so didn't see this coming...

Can anyone give me a scenario where Sony could take your content and sell it?

Like I said, the your user created content is open to everyone, for free. How is Sony going to take that and sell it?

And you should be honored if your level appears in a commercial, it's not like they have to have your level in it, so why complain.

Really this is taken totally out of context, there is no way Sony can take something of yours and sell it. The only way they could do it is to take it down from the community and put it up for sale which would cause quite the uprising resulting in Sony not selling it.
