I like Nba Live 09 better because controls are easier and navigating through game is way easier,also.Gameplay is more fluid,too. What's your opinion?

2k is wayyy better. Anyone who likes live better needs to try 2k. The game play is more realistic and the controls are miles ahead of Lives controls. The realistic player animations are amazing. Shawn Marion will shoot like Shawn Marion in live they all just look generic. Honestly buying NBA live is a huge waste of money

live has too many glitches. you can step on the out of bounds line all you want and never be called for it, but then get called for being a mile away from it. the graphics are also sub-par (especially the crowd hoo boy, they suck) and it doesn't scale to higher resolutions. aside from that, it feels too much like an arcade style of game. i prefer a simulation. I can get Kobe to make any shot I want any day of the week.

2k9 delivers a much more realistic basketball experience and it plays in 1080p. The controls are indeed harder to get used to but it defense is much easier and you really have to work for points. superstars can't just ball hog and destroy the other team by himself, which is a good thing to provide realism and strategy mechanics. the graphics are also much better in my opinion, and can easily be seen in the crowd rendering.

my bet: 2k9

live may have some better game modes, but 2k9 just plays more smoothly. new animations look gr8 and the crowd reacts like in a real game.

live dynamic dna is probably the feature that makes it better then 2k9, but who cares really. crowd looks terrible, suffers from frame issues

I like 2k9 more because it plays more smooth and looks more realistic. Plus I like to play these games with my friends and most them play 2k9.

I like 09:the inside better than both. It's a lot easier to pick up and isn't as clunky and faster paced than both of them.
