All systems right now offer to us vertical and horizontal position. I like horizontal position of my PS3 because it's space friendly. How about your preferences (Wii, X360, PS3)?

My ps3 is Vertical next to my Sony Bravia. I would have it horizontal in my cupboard but it's to closed in and I don't want it to over heat. I don't use a stand though. Seems to be quite stable without a stand (if there is one). Ps3 is a heavy Mother!

We have 3 Wiis, 1 horizontal, 1 vertical and one in a plastic bag up a corner cuz my son is too lazy to unpack it after taking it to a friends!

I have a Wii and it alternates being horizontal under the TV or on the floor vertical.

Honestly, the thing looks so much better in the vertical position

Wii = vertical sitting on top of the entertainment system like a piece of art.
360 = horizontal and tucked away in my entertainment system with my PS2 Slim sitting on top of it.

I have my Wii in vertical position, as it fits better in my entertainment centre, and I find it looks better that way too. I don't like placing Gamecube disc's in the vertical Wii though.

Oh, I am too stund to realize that my PS3 could be placed vertical!

Mine is a 2005 model.  KLVS32A10, no hdmi :(  I didn't know much about HD or HDMI back then, so I would of brought a differnet one if I knew what I do now, but oh well, it does the job. I play my games in 1080i via component and I love it :D  I'm wanting to buy a bigger and better one: X series maybe.  The one I got now is going to be my personal one and the new one will be the family's.  It's a part of my master scam... I mean Plan :P
