When I sent my 360 to a special shop in NY due to out of/voided warranty, they overclocked my 360 fan by putting in a PS adaptor cable from the DVD to the Nidec fan. It is now extremely loud. My question is will this wear down my 360 even more or will it help? I have a Xenon.

Will be loud forever though.
