I think we'll all be healthier if we stop looking/caring about micro-movements. The general trend is for low numbers, and it will continue to be that way for quite a long time.

The real question is how low will it go.

Now it's back up 260. It's so unpredictable.

It seems to have jumped up demonstrably here at the end. It's plus 401.35 by my ticker to put it at 8979. Crazyness.

Even when it swings up I feel very uncomfortable. It makes me very suspect that people are gaming the system.

The treasury is using the billions in taxpayer money to buy bank stocks directly... That might be part of the reason.

But if someone could get tipped off when these events will happen, they could make a fortune. The temptation to cheat seems enormous.
