Forums - Gaming - Prediction: PS3/360 gets their own HD grfx titles and Wii gets low grfx Jap

The developers of Scarface: The World Is Yours have said that the Wii version of the game looks a bit better than the XBox version, and it does look quite nice (excellent lighting and draw distance). Not nearly in the league of an XBox 360 game, obviously, but the horsepower justifies bracketing the Wii into the low end of the current generation.

Sounds like the high end of last generation.

The GC was a great console, and if the wii follows up with the great level that Nintendo put into that system the wii will do great but so far nothing is that far ahead. Their are tons of tricks that delvelopers could put into their games to make them look great it's just a matter of effort put into games, when Nintendo can toss anything onto the DS and its sells like crack to junkies they have no will to even try this gen and they can still make lots of cash, just look at the DS games coming out in japan, they are not normal NA type game, some of them just seem like crap versions of free software i can download onto my computer, and maybe we should include Microsoft office into the charts if DS games like My Household Budget Diary and Flash Focus: Vision Training in Minutes a Day are counted.

I don't see why you constantly bring up these games ...

Nintendo is still making games from the same series that they always have on the Nintendo DS, and they continue to make new IPs for conventional gamers. There production of new products has not hurt you in any way. If Nintendo made a piece of software called "Nintendo DS Daytimer" which allowed you to put your schedule into your DS it could potentially be very popular with the new (older) gamers Nintendo has attracted lately (in particular if it allowed you to use a usb cable to download the events from your PC) yet you would probably compain about its production; you do realize that the world is not centered around your wants and needs aren't you?
