They need a lot of IPs, and need to support every console, since that works for the current top three. They have a some hit IPs, but they need a real cash cow or two, the way Madden is for EA and Guitar Hero is for Activision.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
