Usually, every holiday season, there's a host of games that are hyped through the roof. And most years, we get a couple of briquettes of coal. I just wanted to point out that so far, things are looking different. Dead Space, LittleBigPlanet, and Saints Row 2 are about to release and they've all received favorable reviews in line with expectations. Now we just have to wait for Fallout, Fable, Motorstorm, Resistance, Gears, Mirror's Edge, and maybe a couple of others I can't remember to see just how great this year is. I'm just having a hard time believing any of those games are going to fail. What do you think?

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.
