Installing games is the biggest feature I'm looking forward to. Why? Less drive running = less RROD. Not to mention faster loading times OVER TIME. Oh, and less jet engine noise to.

I'm a little leery of NXE... I hope I can turn it off if I don't like it.

when you install the games on the 360 do you still need the disk to play?, if so ps3 has some games that allow you to install the game on your hdd as well. I think I seen Ninja Giaden and UT that allow you to install, might be others as well

Mandatory installs Vs. custom installs. Which one wins? Play now, or play later (mostly talking about Metal Gear Solid 4 here, which is a damn shame IMO)?

Well yeah, you edited your post. But it's still annoying when playing MGS 4 (because that's basically the only PS3 game I own right now). o_O

For speed runs, it's damn annoying! Especially when cutscenes take mostly all the chapter's length, you get little gameplay, then when a cutscene pops-up, you skip it, then 5-10 minutes of gameplay, repeat, boss fight, repeat, chapter change (and the install which then takes forever!!). How is that awesuum? o_O

umm sounds like youre bashing mgs4 if you dont like it return it
1)I love the to watch the cut scene and of course its going to be long because it was the last saga for snake and everything had to be told from 1-4
2) game play for me was lengthy it was the same amount of all the other mgs series
3) mgs bosses were my favorite
4) and its call a time run of course youre going to do all those steps
