Forums - Microsoft - No X07 This Year

http://kotaku.com/gaming/totally-crossed-out/microsoft-has-no-plans-for-x07-279850.php

Aaron Greenberg, group product manager for Xbox 360 and Xbox Live confirmed that Microsoft will not holding an X07 event on the most recent Squad XP podcast. Responding to the general perception that Microsoft's E3 2007 press conference lacked in headline grabbing game announcements, instead focusing on '07-bound titles, Greenberg said big announcements are coming. But they're not coming at X07, saying "There's not a real X07 this year, but I think we'll figure out some way to talk about 2008 some time at a different event or a different program." The company's X0 events have taken place in various European locations in years 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2006, but it looks Xbox faithful will need to look to either Games Convention in Leipzig or Tokyo Game Show for 2008 game announcements.

So wait for Leipzig and TGS for new Alan Wake, Halo Wars, Fable 2 and Too Human stuff.

I was going to post it, but the site wasn't loading. . . oh well.

Is that good or bad? They didn't seem to show off a whole lot of stuff at E3 and their own special event seemed like it could have been a good way to do such a thing. It's worked for Sony, Nintendo, and publishers such as EA, right?
