@jaggedsac: That list is very outdated though.

The best current TBS are really:
Civilization IV
Civilization IV: Colonization
Galactic Civilizations 2

I also heard good things about Sword of the Stars. And heard Europa Universalis 3 is really great. Disciples III is also coming "soon", this year or early next 2009.

LOL. I know, but I cranked up X-Com the other day and it is still fun.

oh, no doubt. X-Com is still great, and now that you can get the entire series on Steam for only $15 is a great deal.

Hm I guess there is alot I can buy. Thanks JaggedSac, and Shio. I might buy the X-Com series if it is only $15 dollars off steam, how many games are in it?
