Regardless of the fact that its the first weeks of price cut or not, if the PS3 wants to gain ground they need to pounce the 360 and right now it just doesn't look like its going to happen anytime throughout this Holiday season.

you are right about the price cut + JRPG effect.

But, at the end, the xbox360 was not even able to put 50k in the head of the PS3

can I say non-event ?

I m waiting for the timed exclusive "Last Remanant" that will have a bundle AND that is directly from SE should boost the sales too.

About the WW market (since some Xbox360 supporters begin to talk about the WW market) :

My own guess for this Xmas :


If Wii is sold out, then Xbox360 > PS3 SIGNIFICAITVELY

If Wii not sold out, then PS3 > xbox360 but VERY CLOSE

I wouldn't say that the 360 sales are amazing. Considering the huge price-cuts they are TBH nothing very special at all which is sad as the 360 has probably the best library of both Wii and PS3 combined.
