Forums - Sony - PS3 Drake's Fortune Bundle Sales are Hot.

Who says $500 is too much to spend on a gaming system? Certainly not the game and Blu-ray shoppers at Amazon.com.

Roughly 24 hours after appearing for pre-order at Amazon, the new Sony Playstation 3 160GB Bundle with Drake's Fortune, a DualShock controller and voucher for PAIN from the Playstation Network has made waves on the movers and shakers charts.

As of Saturday morning, the bundle had climbed 441% from the 157th bestsellers spot to the 29th spot over the past 24 hours.

That's not bad for a bundle we had made fun of not too long ago. Of course, we still stand pat on our belief a fused bundle with games and Blu-ray will really move some hardware this holiday season. And we're not just saying that because our site is built upon a foundation of combined games and movie coverage.

For now, we'll keep our eye on this Drake's Fortune bundle and see if it can continue to climb the charts.

Amazon sales.

Think of the sealz!!!!!

That 160 GB HDD is pretty sexy...

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

i don't think its the HDD but the shiney chrome :P

THIS IS MADNESS!

Yeah if it had bc than it would be the perfect ps3.

Wow, it doesn't have BC? Glad I have my good ol' 60 GB.
