Bought it for my girlfriend Wednsday. She loves it.

Got a free copy of Silent Hill the movie too. Talk about a good deal!

At any rate, if your a fan of Silent Hill, and real survival horror....You need SH5. It has all of the nice functionality of a modern game (ala RE4), but is far scarier. From what I've seen, it's certainly as scary, and well thought-out as SH2 and 3, which were the best of the series.

The scares and jump scenes are just insane. You must play it to believe.

I totally disagree. It isn't scary at all, combat is way too easy, it is too freaking dark so there might be something scary out there but your not seeing it anyway and I don't know what it is, but the atmosphere just isn't good. It's not a bad game though, just not what I hoped for.
