This 4th installment is all about the Enemies from 3ft high to 15 stories high. As usual the detail is second to none.

This game will reach 6 million and probably outsell the first Halo. God bless the cogs who keep us safe from the locust menace.

The Brumak. Cliffy says the Brumack is 15 stories high.
Honestly, I hope they don't completely disregard the enemies in Gears 1 in Gears 2.
That's one of my pet peeves in most sequels, when the sequel doesn't contain enemies from the first game even though you spent all your time fighting them in the first game.
But watching the video, that's basically what I understood to be the case
VIDEO SPOILERS:
- Palace guards replace theron guards
- Those walking land mines replace the crawling locust from the first game that became kamikaze enemies towards the end of the first game when shot at
There were still lots of regular locusts too which they have shown in the videos up to now. The majority of the enemies you fought in Gears 1 were Locusts, Theron Guards, & Wretches. They threw in a few boomers and variations like the exploding Wretches towards the end but overall the variety was pretty slim. In the videos so far I haven't seen many of the Wretches/Theron guards but still plenty of Locusts. They seem to be the main "foot soldier" so it makes sense they are still around.
