Hey at least the left finally settled on something to smear her over. You'd think when you ignore facts like they did on all the made-up scandals you wouldn't need a dozen tries before you settle on a smear angle.
And remember folks, Alaskans are too stupid to know the difference between 2 years of effective governing and a complete moron running their state. In fact they've confused one for the other! So just ignore what they think, because cherry picked examples from people who want to dislike her take precedence over the opinions of voters who actually live under her administration....and don't you forget it!

It's not a smear if it's true. I can't speak for the made up scandal people, but as far as these interviews with Katie Couric go, it has become crystal clear that she does not know a lot about what's going on in the world.
I'm not arguing that she's stupid, because she's not! She knows how to throw her weight around in just the right way, and when reading from a teleprompter, she can really rile people up and get them excited. I'm arguing that in those interviews, she comes off as a high school kid who spent all night cramming for a civics exam and then almost shat herself when she found out it was a 5 page essay, throwing out as many key-terms and fluff as she possibly can to fill up that space.
Sarah Palin is not stupid, she's just the next puppet in line. I want to like her. I want to believe that if McCain gets elected, that she'll be an effective and knowledgeable VP. Unfortunately, all of the direct evidence (her interviews, GOP not letting her off the leash) points to the fact that she, quite simply, is not qualified for this position.
