Forums - General - How do you hold the steering wheel when you drive?

lol im so glad I drive in Australia in a right side stearing car so I can have my right hand at 12 o'clock with my left hand on the gear stick for quick gear changes. (im right handed, thats why) I couldnt imagen driving with my left hand, I would be so uncoordinated!!! And then I have this awesome little arm rest thingy in my center console so I can rest my elbow when I dont need to change gears!

I love round abouts, Cos in Australia you gotta indicate off the round about (dont know what you gotta do in other countries) So its really fun, indicating to go around the round about, turning, change gears, indicate off, turn out of the round about, turn off indicator, change gears

I love manual cars! I love driving full stop! I'll mention I hate electric cars while i'm at it lol, nothing beats an internal combustion engine, especially a rotary or a turbo 4 cylindar! ;) (I know other other engines are faster but I like the concept and sound of em, its personal) :D

If at first you don't succeed, you fail

im 12 so i dont drive

umm, 1 hand on each grip with my right handed twisted for full throttle I don't know. I haven't driven a car in weeks.

I guess I typically put my left hand on top, or my elbow on the window with my hand on the wheel at 9, and the other resting on the shifter.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

I'm learning so that for me is just annoying! But it's the same in the UK, so I like driving with my right hand as well, but as I'm learning you're 'supposed' to have your hands at 10 o clock and 2 o clock.
