Just outta curiosity. Most of the time I have one hand at 8 oclock but sometimes in high traffic/construction zones I use 10-and-2. What do other people use?
on freeway I use two hands appropriately.
on regular roads usually one hand on top or hand(s) resting on bottom of wheel.
One hand, right at the top. Sometimes a bit to the right. My left arm is always hanging out my window, and subsequently is much darker than my right arm, lol.
Right hand on 12,
Left hand out the window, or sometimes 7.
One hand.
Always at five, unless I'm turning, or merging.
I sit too far back to have my hand sit comfortably at the top of the steering wheel. Also, my arms are too short. And I think it looks weird.

2 and 10 over 90% of the time. I grab it like I would grab a slab (with my thumbs along the wheel), not like I would grab a bat (thumbs wrapped around the wheel) since that prevents your thumbs getting broken when going through a ditch when off-roading.
One hand on the top, except for when I'm turning I have a habit of using both hands.
