Sorry if this has been posted already but It would be great to know this now, I've played the Ion Drum Rocker at my brothers college dorm, and even though the symbol and drum were the same color the game recognized them as 2 different drums, will the GH drums work the same way? (like the orange symbol even tough it's not used) a link to an article from a trustworthy site would be great too

A little birdie told me that the Rock Band 2 gear will work with GH World Tour and vice versa. However, I was also told that the old Rockband instruments, and Guitar Hero II, III, will NOT work with the coresponding games, just the new instruments.

This doesnt really make sense. Perhaps a software patch upon release allows for instrument crossover. I was wondering this myself, because I dont want to buy the $99 Wireless Guitar Hero III pack, and be SOL with Rock Band 2, or buy the rock band 1 instruments and be SOL with Guitar Hero 2-3, and World Tour. I currently own the wired X360 Guitar Hero 2 guitar, thats it!

When I was at my buddies, we were using the Rockband 1 guitar and the Guitar Hero 2-3 Guitar to play Rock Band 1 (2 player) on PS2.....I am so confused.

It seems, I too, need enlightenment!
