What were the names of those fishing games announced? I know there was at least 1 if not 2...

Godzilla is coming to PSP and DS, Raygar is a PS2 port, De Blob is coming to the DS, Rayman 2 is listed twice, Forever Blue is now called Endless Ocean and it is a 1st party game.

Playground is also coming to DS, Agatha Christie is also a PC game.

Also which medal of honor game is that Can you list the full name please?

Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi 2 is not a Wii exclusive if you were going to list it, neither is 3.

Then why the hell 90% of the games you listed for 360/ps3 are multiplatform if those doesn't count ? :|

Because they aren't on the Wii?

Buy it and pray to the gods of Sigs: Naznatips!

Because he was listing Wii exclusives. I was listing console games announced in the last 2 months that aren't coming to Wii. I never said I was listing exclusives. Go back and check. I was trying to make a point that 3rd party support is stronger for the other two consoles and not the Wii.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

There have been big 3rd party announcements all year for the 360 and PS3.

There weren't many new games announced at E3, but everyone was talking about how the Wii was gonna have a turn around with 3rd parties at E3 and nothing of the sort happened.

So when is this big 3rd party support supposed to come?

I don't remember people suggesting specifically lots of 3rd party Wii stuff, though MoH Wii with 32 player online was pretty huge. Personally, I have said time and time again that since 3rd parties didn't anounce shift in focus for the Wii till a couple months ago, you won't see the effects of this shift till 2008. People jump on any opportunity to criticize the Wii though, so the creation of this topic does not surprise me (nor does your reply ckmlb).

Well said, naznatips.

Simple: Third parties made up their minds before the Wii launched that they would support PS3/360. Analysts did not expect it to sell, no one did. The PS3/360 projects coming out have been in development for a while.

Once the Wii showed that it was here to stay, many third parties have begun to support it. Sure, quite a number of projects are quick cash ins, because they want to make some money this holiday season. They know the Wii is selling, will be selling in the holiday season. They are not going to have big projects ready, so they get out whatever they can. All of the simple/mini-games/ports are coming out this year. I did not hear any company announcing mini-games for 2008. They are putting everything in for the holiday. It is a last-minute strategy.

Alongside these, however, there ARE good games coming. And, in 2008, we will see some of the bigger projects that third parties are cooking up. You COULD SPECULATE that they are not coming, but I say they are being developed as we speak.

@ckmlb,

What I posted earlier, which you just happen to overlook, explains the current situation.

As you said, games like No More Heores are what the Wii needs. However, Suda51 showed their support for the Wii early. Hence, why we are getting a quality title. Capcom and Konami, Zack and Wiki and Deweys Adventure, also unique solid titles that are coming to the Wii (Although I will admit that they look a tad to kid friendly for my own taste, but the gameplay seems uniqe andgreat).

I have argued this many many times: IMO,Western based companies are the main leaders of casual stuff for the Wii. They are also some of the latest to realize the Wii's potential, and the ones throwing us some shovel ware. They have, along with many other big third party develpers, their bigger projects, which they started before they saw the success of the Wii, coming to the 360/PS3 this year and early next year. I wont argue that.

But as you said yourself, "Believe me there is almost nothing on PS3 or 360 3rd party that I want to play as much as No More Heroes on the Wii." We just have to wait longer, because no one saw what a huge success the Wii would be.

YOU ARE WRONG CKMLB... Not really, but maybe that will get peoples attention. If it doesnt, I will start posting some pics.
Maybe if I add some color....

Well, I have nothing better to do. I put some time and effort into this, and worded it pretty well, IMO. I guess I am just in the mood to get some attention.

I highlighted and bolded them all for you too lol.

What is the point of this repeated highlighting and posting of the same comments?

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

"DQ is from SE and is their biggest japanese game series, much bigger than FF"

==> it is ok I know what is DQ, and I know how it is important serie, I just dont know if It can be considered as a third party game
Whatever, thx for ur answer.

and yes, I think nintendo needs games, because the hype is not eternal.
Big games are coming on PS3/Xbox360 and there are still lot of PS2 owners that didnt have switched on next-gen. Wiimote and nintendo games are not sufficient when on the others side PES2008/GTA4 are coming even more if Xbox360/PS3 get a price drop.

Maybe he will see it because you responded to it. In general, people do not respond to my long posts, only my short and funny remarks.

I guess they just see the Wii in my name, and the reggie avatar, and automatically assume Nintendo Fanboy, which could not be further from the truth.

Whoops, meant 3. As for whether it should be on the list or not, I'll should post one of my earlier comments:

There's EA and Ubisoft and they are both huge and believe me, there are a lot of unannounced games in the work from A LOT of developers. I was interviewing a few months back along with a good number other friends and most of the studios we talked to had Wii games in the works. I doubt all of them will ever see the light of day, but a good amount of them will be released.

Everything announced from EA and Ubisoft so far has been mini game collections, simple little games, ports or multiplatform games. Doesn't sound like much 3rd party support to me.

I love how you completely count mini games as worthless. Rayman Raving Rabbids is on my list of 10 favorite games because it is just fun. As for things like MySims and the likes, can't wait to see those. Just because you don't like the games don't immediately discount them as terrible and worthless.

Also, way to talk down on multiplatform games here and then include them in your list of research later.

Oh, and one more thing: can't believe nobody has talked about Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2!

Yeah, either the PS3/360 have almost no 3rd party support or multiplatform games should be counted.

I think we can all agree that the big DQ game this and the main series are on DS now not on Wii. Swords will not have close to the same impact as DQ IX.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

Probalby has something to do with the fact that you among others completely ignore them and repeat the same argument.

His argument was based on comparing exclusive games only, I never said exclusive games are the only indication of 3rd party support so don't tell me that.
