Why? It's not like they're on the same system.

this new experience thing won't be able to match PSN + Home in quality. Besides XBox live isn't free and you can bet that after this new thing they'll increase the prices

It can't match PSN + Home in quality? Because you've objectively reviewed both, right?  Also MS is going to increase the prices? 30 or so words used to misinform as much as possible, huh?  Too funny.

I have no idea why releasing the NXE has anything to do with Home whatsoever...not saying either is better/worse than the other, but see absolutely no reason, outside of fan arguments, why the one affects the other.

360 is trying to re-position itself, via ads, and the NXE, as more casual friendly.  I don't think that Home's TARGET is to be a casual piece of software, but rather a unique take on using the PS3 as a social experience.  I wish them both luck, and don't see them as competitors, anymore than any other PS3/360 offering.

Plus it's fun when competitor's butt heads...then you have some more stuff to argue/discuss on forums like these!

Oh look it's another of those guys who know what's good or bad before it's released just because of the sticker on the box.

One of these days you'll learn how to post without trolling!

And just to be clear-- he isn't being banned simply because he's posting a negative MS comment.  He's being banned because he's just being a troll in general and didn't even need to bring up the paying for Live business.  That has nothing to do with thread and was only meant to cause trouble.

Why would it be a bad thing for both to release during same time? I just don't get how that matters.

Anywho, I'll be interested in seeing my brother's impressions when i finally releases.

Cool thanks for the news. As previously mentioned I am still wondering wether or not I can keep the "old style" if I don't like the new one. I'm kinda doubting it though.

November, that's later than I expected. I guess Microsoft really is handing PS3 free reign of October after all.

Fable II (Na/Eu/Au) can't stand up against LittleBigPlanet (Na/Eu/Jp/Au), BioShock (Na/Eu), SOCOM: Confrontation (Na/Eu/Jp/Au), Eternal Sonata (Na), MotorStorm: Pacific Rift (Na), NBA 09: The Inside (Na), the various European bundles, and PlayStation Home all on its own.

However, this move does strengthen 360's November lineup which is actually a month that Microsoft might manage to win.

In November, Gears of War 2 (Na/Eu/Au), Naruto: The Broken Bond (Na/Eu), Left 4 Dead (Na/Eu/Au), Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts (Na/Eu/Au), The Last Remnant (Na/Jp), and the New Xbox Experience will be facing off against Resistance 2 (Na/Eu/Jp/Au), Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm (Na/Eu/Au), MotorStorm: Pacific Rift (Eu/Jp/Au), Valkyria Chronicles (Na/Eu), Way of the Samurai 3 (Jp), and the 160GB Uncharted bundle.

Hey don't forget about 'Fallout 3' - that's going to be INSANE.

Anyone have a release date for NXE yet?
