I wish the elevator crap will be gone in the second one most of all.

However, I do wish that the big cinematic parts are better. As much as the dialog parts rocked, cut-scenes were really lacking at the end. I think it would have been more awesome to see more scenes of battle between the citadel fleets and the Geth fleet at the end. For everything that was building up, the parts they did show felt lame compared to what they could have been.

It would also be awesome if the Krogan didn't regenerate health so fast. . .

@ Bolded.

Nonsense!!!

The game is fairly easy. One of the few challenging things was properly taking down a squad of Krogan. Besides, if they were too easy the story wouldn't fit. *SPOILER* You know, the Krogan defeating the Rachni etc...?

But I liked the final cut scenes to be honest. The best one was the ending where *SPOILER* the council got the shit kicked out of them.

Yes, I know all about the Krogan. Though it's really annoying that you're pumping them full of lead when your team mate puts them in a Mass Effect field and knocks them over and they've suddenly regained a majority of their health. The Rachni were nothing compared to Krogan.

Yes, it was nice to see what happened at the end, but all I'm saying is that it could have been much more epic. After playing a space simulator such as Freespace 2, I would have loved to see a much more epic struggle.

I loved Mass Effect, I didn't beat it, but I was at the cusp of it.

It was a hell of a game.

That said, I hope that they ditch the whole good/bad thing, and elevator rides and texture pop-in, cause the game was awesome.

Mass Effect is the Shizzzznitte! Looking forward to a 2009 release with new footage and gameplay at E3 2009. 2009 looks like another great year for games!

Do you mean that dialogue wheel?  If they removed that, the game wouldn't be a Mass Effect game as the dialogue wheel is one of the defining elements of the game.

I hope Mass Effect 2 comes Holiday 2009, but I wonder whether BioWare/MGS can manage it with Dragon Age Origins coming next year as well.

I cant wait for Mass effect 2 i loved one my favorite game so far on the 360

I'd say there's a 90% chance ME2 is going to be November 2009.

At any rate, I do believe we'll get one more DLC pack for ME. I have a feeling (and this is just me), that we'll get a ME2 prequel as DLC...Like a GTAIV-style pack that will bridge the story between ME1 and ME2.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Blasphemy!

Finish Mass Effect, and you'll earn my forgiveness.

On topic: Whenever they release Mass Effect 2, it won't be soon enough.  Also, if they don't bring Tali back, I'm gonna be pissed.

Mass Effect was a great game despite the bugs and glitches in the game it still received review scores in the low 90's.
Mass effect 2 with no bugs and glitches would get review scores in the mid 90's.

It's all speculation, but it occurs to me that they might not have a reason to have her heavily involved in the campaign again..........
