Yeah, there are so many games coming out, it's hard to keep track of them all.

God of War Collection, Bayonetta (was planning on importing it, but I will wait), Saboteur, Darksiders, Dark Void, MAG (I might get it), ModNation Racers, GT5, Bioshock 2, Dante's Inferno, Star Ocean IV, Heavy Rain, White Knight Chronicles, Lost Planet 2, FFXIII and GoW3. That's supposedly just lineup up through March and only games I know about (I doubt GT5 will be coming out here at the placeholder date Gamestop has up).

Found Veteran difficulty in Modern Warfare 2 to be very easy too. Was also looking forward to another World at War type challenge (minus the grenades spamming from the floor). Still the campaign was a lot of fun and not frustrating this way so in the end its better. Just less sense of accomplishment for clearing a really tough level. I was so happy raising the Russian flag at the end of World at War to finish veteran. However it sounds like I should get the challenge I'm looking for in some of the Specs Ops modes on veteran.

Last two Spec Ops levels are a challenge on normal? Can't wait!

Also I hear that veteran in Call of Duty classic is a serious challenge. You don't regenerate life like you do in MW2. You have to find health packs, and I heard you barely come across any at all on veteran!

Yes the last 2 are no joke almost impossible. I played them with a friend who is in my clan. We both have a 1.50+ kill/death and a 3.00+ win/loss. We are really good and we played them on veteran and we got our asses straight handed to us. The 2nd to last one is where you have to fight off 10 Juggernauts using only explosives and a knife. As i was waiting for one i set up 10 claymores in one spot and they all went off when one came around the corner and he just kept coming like nothing bothered him. it takes about 4 rpg hits directly. The last one is where you have to fight off 15 juggernauts and when you are at 7-8 left, they start comin by two. Then 6 left they come by 3. And the hard thing is, you cant take cover on these things. They run up on you and kill you in 2 hits... I'm gonna try it with another friend later. Has anybody seen or used the 25 killstreak tactical nuke? I got a 28 killstreak last night in a ground war and got it. Talk about pure awesomeness!!

the only mw2 let down i can find is no trophys for the mp :( though spec-ops makes up for it :)
i've aced alpha and bravo missions havent started charlie yet but the challenge is just right, its even kept me from playing single player lmao

Everytime games have MP trophies people just look for boosting partners so that's not really a letdown..



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Ah, I forgot about Heavy Rain! And Battlefield Bad Company 2. Q1 is getting way too cramped. I blame Modern Warfare 2, lol.

Not really interested in Bayonetta though. I played the japanese demo and i wasn't too impressed. Don't know how it got a 10/10 in famitsu.

Those juggernaut missions sound really tough!! No cover, they stomp on you and 3 at a time!?

Anyone think they will be the first in the league to have Modern Warfare 2 platinum this tuesday? I've only played 5 or 6 spec ops missions so far so I still have a long way to go to platinum. Hopefully, by next tuesday for me.

To be fair I'm pretty sure all CoD games have been this way.

All I can say is rank up, get access to different play lists (Mercinary team deathmatch levels the playing field as teams are random) and mainly just get better. There are a few pointers that might help: unlock useful kill streak rewards like the helicopter that benefit you the most. Supply drop at 4 kills gives you a random killstreak reward, so you don't even need 7 kills to get a heli active most of the time.

I have no problems with MP on xbox, and like 6 million people have played online(guess). Are you playing on WiFi?

Never mind, i just good pretty good at it, i got over 25 kills in 3 mathces in a row.

 

And yes, im playing on WiFi.

WiFi is never as good as ethernet. I have only had one semi laggy game on it so far.

Yeah they are tough. I tried multipletimes and i can't make it past the 4th one on veteran

Ok, what I´m about to say is no secret to anyone.....

Demon´s Souls is such a great game! So deep, so challenging. For me it´s the 2009 GOTY so far. And in a year that I played resident evil 5 and street fighter 4 (i´m a huge fan of both series) this is really BIG. I don´t remember to be so excited about a game since Bioshock.

And I have the game since March I think hehehe I started, and never played again. After the NA release everybody said "give it another try..". Thanks god I did.

I was crazy about playing MW2, but now... I think that it´ll have to wait for me to finish the game at least twice.

 

And yes, the trophies are bitches, but this only make me want more the platinum in it! Yo have to play at least 3 times to get them all.. Expext me to be out top 10 and down these next weeks..
