Award the user with a "first to win/complete platinum trophy"-game put next to his name..

..like:

somthing like that, just more organized and structured.

There were a few posts about this a few pages back. I like the idea, but we are limited to titles that have a simultaneous global release. If we could organize this well enough, it might work.

I'm also looking for any other ideas that people might have for expanding the league. Is there any type of infomation or chart that people want to see posted, like the platinum leaderboard suggested by rasone77?

I liked the ideas for platinum leaderboards and the first to win (despite the global release that arcturus mencioned).

This week was low for me... at least I managed to stay in 9º. next week will be better.

Maybe just a top 10 most platinums leaderboard alongside the 10 busiest members this week. That would be cool. Doing all 140 people would be too much.

1st to platinum for each game is a really cool idea too, but the global release dates do make that statistic a bit unfair.

Plus, Arcturus, your job is hard enough as it is right? BTW, I think we should all chip in and donate a little to a PayPal account in his name. Help him get a new PS3 game for all the hard work he did running the league this year.

 Problem is that Sony does a terrible job at worldwide simultaneous releases which would make this hard.

On that side Microsoft does a much better job.

Instead of tracking first to platinum, or who has the most platinum ( which can be seen easilly in the ranking), why not track who has the plat for every game ? ( except maybe for those where too many have it as it would mean that game is too easy to get a plat for). I know personally I think people with platinum for wipeout, resistance 2, GTA4 deserves some special recognition...

And to make it easier we could announce when we get one on this forum so that Arcturus only has to double check it before posting the ranking.
