July 2nd, 2008 was the 1st day trophies were released on the PSN with Super Stardust HD.

Today is the 1-year anniversary of trophies!! For better or for worse, what a game changing year trophies have been.
I think the VGChartz league started the same day too. I know I signed up here about a week later as soon as I got 100% in SSHD. Thanks again to Arcturus for all his hard work in keeping this league going strong.

@HideoK: That's right! The VGChartz trophy league started just after trophies were implemented on the PS3. The original thread is dated July 5th 2008, and the oldest leaderboard I could dig up is dated July 8th 2008: Here it is:

Thats awesome that you found the original leaderboard with all of the original members. That makes my day!
The league has grown from 30 to 180 members in year and with over 6,000 posts I'd call this forum a huge success. Thanks again Arcturus.

Thanks guys! It's nice to see that so many people are enjoying the league and the hunt for trophies.

@FootballFan: "Are you counting days of activity? Just thinking to reduce your work load." Are you asking if I'm tracking who is currently active, and who isn't? If so, yes. I have a counter that shows how many weeks it has been since someone last earned a trophy. There are only a few with significantly high counts and at the moment, there is no need to remove them. When it comes to doing the weekly update, they are usually the quickest to update. If they haven't been online in more than 7 days, then I can skip by them without having to load there trophy information.

Which weapons do you guys use in Resistance 2 campaign? You can only carry 2 of them and i dont like to switch weapons during any FPS campagin.
