Of course it is.  When no one likes a sport, any growth in it could be considered "fastest."  If one person likes it, and suddenly 5 more do, that's a 500% growth, whereas if 70 million people like it, and suddenly 5 more do, that growth is insignificant.

Even if you keep third world countries out Soccer is far more popular among advanced countries than Football which is a US only sport...

Main reason soccer isn't more popular in the US is that it doesn't have breaks every 2 minutes for commercials...(Thank god!).

Heck the number of people watching the superbowl every year is very small compared to the number of people watching the world soccer cup every 4 years...

For all that football is popular in the US by the way, how many people actually play it ? very very few....

There's over 250k french that play soccer in clubs during any given year...

crap i think i needa restart my infamous hard play through. i havent played it in a while, but i read that u cant change it to hard right away n u needa wait for the game to do it for you. i think i changed it right away so thats annoying. thats like the stupidest thing ever, it shouldnt let u changed the difficulty prior to the game deciding it for you if it will fuck up the trophy system

Omfg the T-Mobile trophy for Midnight Club LA is so F'ing annoying!!!
Ok it says join an online game with 5 friends and i do that but no trophy wtf!
They are on my friends list but not on my invite list so idk wtf to do...
But in the mean time i got Ski doo today... online is dead though so the online trophy might be a bitch to get... also gotta find somewhere to do a double frontflip and backflip

so anyone trying to platinum anything new that isn't on the league list yet?

@ail lol you nearly have a point over me but you forget all the money in football is in the priemership and its the fastest and best league in the world so everyone tries to get involved lol :P considering that we have a large english count in the league just not large enough :)

@mtlca66 thats confusing im yet to buy infamous so what is this potential glitch/problem?

well when u start the game u play for a little and based on how you do the game selects the difficulty for you. apparently, if u change the game to hard immediately before the game "chooses" the difficulty, you wont get the trophy for beating it on hard. this is heresay so i am not positive. no one has really confirmed it for me in here.

Just start a game (or try your old game)put it on hard, and then select "new game", and then you will be on hard since the beginning

Yeah, me with Sacred 2.

 

Still a long way to go though. I have 40% of trophies but my highest char is level 41 and I think I need to reach level 140 for one of the trophies...( and going to have to level others chars to bargain and gear it I think).



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Anyone noticed that the vgchartz1 name was on PSN yesterday? It's weird, considering the weekly updates are on Tuesdays.

Anyways, I'm almost done with my initial playthrough of Mirror's Edge, since I am on the last level. I swear I keep screwing up on trying to disarm the one kind of enemy, but I am not worried about it for now. After finishing my first playthrough, I'll go back to the chapters and get all of the bags and then play again on Hard.
